2 tbsp. liquid smoke
1 tsp. garlic or garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
2 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. pepper
1 c. barbecue sauce (bottled)
4-6 lbs. beef brisket

Directions:

Mix ingredients and pour over brisket , placed fat side up in foil-lined 3 qt. cake pan. Seal foil up and around brisket and over the top. Marinate in refrigerator overnight. Bake as is at 250º for 5 hrs. Remove meat after cool and slice thinly. Remove fat from surface of liquid. Replace meat in liquid and reheat to serve. Can be done day ahead.
