{"id":1883,"date":"2021-09-16T11:31:51","date_gmt":"2021-09-16T15:31:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.familycookbookproject.com\/theblog\/?p=1883"},"modified":"2021-08-18T08:03:48","modified_gmt":"2021-08-18T12:03:48","slug":"understanding-your-editor-account","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.familycookbookproject.com\/theblog\/2021\/09\/understanding-your-editor-account.html","title":{"rendered":"Understanding your Editor account"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you are new to Family Cookbook Project, this is a great place to start to get to know your editor account.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Editor&#8217;s Homepage<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For most people, your homepage is set to the &#8220;Quick Start&#8221; version which features a section for Alerts and Notices, Recipes, Layout and Design, Cookbook and Account Info, Contributors, Our Blog, and Cookbook Publishing.<\/p>\n<p>Each section has a number of &#8220;quick links&#8221; on the homepage to highly used pages, but more importantly, a green button that will take you to the full set of links for that section.<\/p>\n<p>The other option for homepage is the &#8220;Full Page&#8221;. This was our original homepage and shows your contributor welcome message and photo, a table of contents of recipes, a list of contributors, and a list of newest recipes.<\/p>\n<p>In the upper right corner of your editor&#8217;s homepage is a drop down menu to select either of these pages.<\/p>\n<p>Along the top of both Editor home\u00a0page&#8217;s is a black navigation bar that contains important links that will follow you on all pages of the site:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><strong>Cookbook Home<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; Takes you back to your homepage.<\/li>\n<li><em><strong>Editor Activities <\/strong><\/em>&#8211; Links to take you directly to a section without having to go to the homepage.<\/li>\n<li><em><strong>Add Recipe<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; Here is where you add your own recipes.<\/li>\n<li><em><strong>View Recipes<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; Several choices to see the recipes in your cookbook<\/li>\n<li><em><strong>Edit Your Info<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; Here is where you can change your email and password.
