\"\"Family Cookbook Project<\/a>\u00a0 has been helping individuals and families create and print cherished customized cookbooks full of their own personal recipes. We thought it would be interesting to learn more about the typical person who wanted to create a cookbook.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, we surveyed 2,041 Cookbook Editors and asked “What was the most enjoyable part about creating a family cookbook?”. We received 1,600 responses and here are some of the most popular answers:<\/p>\n

Discovering long forgotten recipes<\/p>\n

Knowing that we are saving these recipes that are special to our family for future generations…<\/p>\n

The website and ease to bring all the loved recipes to one book for the family<\/p>\n

Writing down the recipes I’ve collected over the years so that they are all in one place.<\/p>\n

Knowing recipes that were mine and both me and my wife’s mothers and grandmothers will be handed down.<\/p>\n

Writing the stories that go along with the recipes<\/p>\n

The memories of where the recipes came from. Some of my recipes are from the early 1900\u2019s<\/p>\n

Making sure family recipes continue on<\/p>\n

Sharing memories of baking with family members that have since passed.<\/p>\n

Looking at the handwritten recipe cards<\/p>\n

Remembering past family members as I entered recipes<\/p>\n

I really enjoy having one place with all my favorite recipes rather than having to look everything up.<\/p>\n

Trying other family members recipes.<\/p>\n
