1-16 oz. can tomatoes w/ liquid
1-12 oz. can tomato paste
4 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 Bay Leaf
1lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. Olive oil
1 sm. onion
1 garlic glove minced

In a 5 qt. Dutch oven heat oil; add ground beef, onion, and garlic; cook over medium heat until beef is browned; drain off excess fat. Stir in remaining ingredients; partially cover and simmer for 35 minutes.
