Spaghetti Pie Recipe

Tammy Grimm & Lynn Thompson


1/3 C Parmesan cheese
1 pound ground beef
1C cottage cheese
1/4 C chopped green pepper
6 oz tomato paste
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
2 T butter
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 C chopped onion
8 oz can of chopped tomatoes
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 C mozzarella shredded

Cook spaghetti and drain, stir in butter, parmesan and eggs. Make this into a crust in a buttered 10" pie pan. Cook beef in skillet along with onions and
peppers until veggies are tender and meat is brown. Drain grease. Stir in tomatoes, paste, sugar, oregano and garlic salt. Heat thoroughly. Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti crust, pour meat mix over that, then bake 20 min at 350 degrees. Then top with mozzarella and bake until melted.
