"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

4 c fresh peaches ** see note or 4 c canned peaches

1 tsp baking powder
1 egg, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
combine dry ingredients, cut in oleo until it is fine crumbs. Stir in egg. Spoon over peaches that has been poured in a baking pan. (I use pryex 9x13) Bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.

NOTE: If you use fresh peaches, you may want to cook the peaches along with the cup of sugar and enough water to make them as juicy as you want. Let it come to a boil for about 2 to 3 minutes. If you use canned peaches, use the syrup they are packed in.
