Apple Cookies Recipe

c butter
1 1/3 c brown sugar
1 egg
2 c unsifted flour
1 tsp baking soda
tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
tsp ground cloves
tsp nutmeg
c apple juice or milk
1 c finely chopped and peeled apples
1 c raisins

2 Tbsp butter
1 c sifted powdered sugar
tsp vanilla
2 Tbsp apple juice
Dash salt

Cream butter and sugar and add egg. Beat until fluffy. Add dry ingredients alternately with juice. Fold in nuts and fruit. Bake on greased cookie sheet for 10 minutes at 400. Glaze slightly warm cookies.
