2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1/3 c. oil
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
Streusel topping:
2 T. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. margarine
Apple spread:
1 pkg. (8-oz) of cream cheese, at room temperature
2/3 c. apples, peeled and finely diced
1 T. powdered sugar
1 T. milk
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Bread: Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour bottom of 9 X 5-inch loaf pan. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, excluding streusel topping, and beat with an electric mixer for 3 minutes on medium speed. Pour into prepared pan. In a small mixing bowl, combine streusel ingredients until crumbly. Sprinkle over batter and swirl with a knife to marble. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 15 minutes in pan then remove. Serve with apple spread.
Apple Spread: Combine all ingredients in food processor or blender. Process until smooth, scraping down sides.
