2 medium potatoes, diced
3 strips of bacon. diced
1/4 c onion, chopped very fine
1 large can cream style corn
1 c.chicken stock
1 tall can evaporated milk
1 pint fresh milk
salt
Nutmeg, one pinch
Parsley, chopped fine

Directions:
Directions:
Boil potatoes in a small amount of water until they are almost soft. Do not drain. Fry the bacon very slowly and when brown and crisp, remove from pan. Now saute the onions in the bacon fat until light brown. Add bacon and onions to the potatoes. Now, add the corn, chicken stock and the milk. Add salt and nutmeg. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Garnish with parsley.
