Notes: Mae Johnson's Grandma Alice (on her father Jake's side) served this family favorite at every gathering. The kids in the family named it "Green Slime" and the name has stuck. Although the name may sound yucky, everyone always asks Mae it to bring to family gatherings today. Currently Mae substitutes with sugar free Jello, no sugar added pineapple, light or fat free cream cheese, and cold water instead of 7-up and the recipe is still a big hit!
