Beef Brisket Recipe

4-5 lbs beef brisket
liquid smoke
onion powder
garlic powder
seasoned salt
meat tenderizer
1 tbl mustard
2 tsp vingear
2 tbl brown sugar
1/2 cup catsup
1/4 cup BBQ sauce

Trim excess fat from brisket.
Brush brisket with liquid smoke and let stand 30 minutes.
Season with all powders. Bake at 300 degress for 1 hour with the fat side down. Turn over and reseason with powders. Bake for 2 hours. Do Not Cover Meat. Spread paste onto brisket. Bake 30 minutes then turn oven off for 30 minutes. Remove from oven, refrigerate over night. Slice. Mix sauce, pour over meat adding enough water so that meat is covered in suace. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes or until meat is tender.
