1/2 lb. bacon
2 med. onions, chopped
2 ribs celery, chopped
1 med. bell pepper, chopped
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 1/2 tsp. salt
red or black pepper to taste
2 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet
1/2 C green onion tops
1 C parsley, chopped
4 C rice
8 C water
2 lbs shrimp

Start rice cooking in water. Fry bacon and drain excess fat.
Saute onions, celery, and pepper until it starts to turn clear. Add
shrimp and spices and cook for about 10 mins. Add Kitchen
Bouquet and rice and mix together. Add parsley and green onion
tops just before serving.

Can substitute browned sausage or browned chicken for shrimp.
