Ingredients: 2 - 3 Potatoes Margarine Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:Peal potatoes and slice thinly. Get two pieces of tinfoil and spread a layer of margarine on each one (not too thick a layer). Divide the potatoes in half and place the two halves on each piece of tinfoil. Salt and pepper each to your taste. You can put a dot of butter or two between the layers of potato also, if you want. Wrap up each piece of tinfoil (not too tightly because you will want to check for doneness). Place on your barbeque. Cook until done. Check after the first 5-10 minutes to see how far along they are. These cook fast and need to be watched. |

Notes: If you cook these just right they get a brown sheen to them on the bottom layer and are just delicious. We first had them many years ago at a friend’s house, during a barbeque. The first time I tried to make them I seriously overcooked them, because I treated them like most other potato dishes that require about 30 minutes to be done.
