1 cup shortening
1 cup peanut butter (plain or crunchy)
1 1/3 cups sugar
1 1/3 cups brown sugar
3 eggs
1 1/3 tsp. soda in 1/4 cup boiling water
1 1/3 tsp vanilla
4 cups flour
Directions:
Directions:
Beat together shortening, sugars, vanilla and eggs until creamy. Add the soda in the water along with the flour. Mix well. Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork. Bake at 350º F. for 10-12 minutes.
