¼ cup uncooked wild rice, rinsed well
4+ cups chicken broth
½ brown rice
½ cup pearl barley
½ to 1 cup white rice
¼ cup slivered almonds, toasted
½ cup dried cranberries (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, combine chicken broth and wild rice; simmer 10 minutes. In a baking dish, combine brown rice, pearl barley, white rice, and cranberries (optional). Place a dab of butter on top. Add wild rice and broth, making sure that your broth amount is about double that of your rice amount. Cover with foil and bake at 325 degrees for 1-1 ½ hours. Sprinkle slivered almonds on top of rice before serving.
