a few strips of bacon 1/2 cup water 2 cups shredded cabbage 1 cup corn (cut off the cob or frozen) 1 tsp. salt, or less 1 tsp. sugar
Fry bacon in fry pan (or use butter in place of bacon). Remove bacon from pan and use as a garnish. Add water to drippings and bring to a boil. Add cabbage and corn, salt and sugar. Cook for about 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Garnish with crumbled crisp bacon.
