1 cup butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
4 cups flour
6 large bananas, very ripe, mashed
1 cup finely chopped pecans (if desired)
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325F. Grease two loaf pans. In a large mixing bowl, add butter and sugar together. Then add the eggs and mix well. Sift dry ingredients together, then add to mixing bowl. Stir in bananas and pecans. Pour into loaf pans and bak for 1 hour, 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
