"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
This recipe for Oreo Balls, by Peggy Reed, is from The Reed Family Cookbook Project,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
Grind oreos in food processor until in fine crumbs. Mix in cream cheese until doughy. Roll into 1 tbsp size balls. Melt almond bark in microwave until liquid. Dip balls into chocolate (I use 2 spoons) and sit on wax paper to harden. Keep refrigerated.
Drizzle melted white almond bark over finished oreo balls for a little extra something.
