12 sl white bread
3/4 lb grated sharp cheese
1 10 ozpkg frozen broccoli
2 C cooked ham diced
6 eggs
3 1/2 C milk ( not skimmed)
2 T instant onion
1/2 t salt
1/4 t dry mustard
shredded cheese for top

Directions:
Directions:
Using cookie cutter, cut center from bread slices. Pam a 9x13 pan and place bread crusts in bottom, covering pan. Sprinkle with cheese, broccoli and ham. Place bread cutouts on top. Combine remaining ingredients, except cheese for topping. Mix together and pour over all being certain to cover each bread cutout. Cover and refrigerate overnight or at least 6 hours. Bake uncovered at 350 for 1 hour. Sprinkle with cheese the last 5 min. Be certain to let it stand for at least 10 min before serving .

I believe that most everyone in the family has had this dish at least once. It is an old favorite. My Mom made it for many of her brunches.
