Directions: |
Directions:Prepare the Coffee Mixture: Brew 1 cup of strong coffee or dissolve 1 sachet of instant coffee in hot water. Let it cool to room temperature.
Prepare the Cream Mixture: In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the mascarpone cheese using a spatula until smooth and well combined. Add sugar if desired.
Layer the Tiramisu: Quickly dip each ladyfinger (or sponge cake slice) into the cooled coffee. Do not soak too long to avoid sogginess. Arrange a single layer of dipped cookies in the bottom of a rectangular dish.
Add Cream Layer: Spread half of the mascarpone mixture evenly over the cookie layer.
Repeat Layers: Add another layer of dipped cookies. Top with the remaining mascarpone mixture and smooth the surface.
Finish and Chill: Dust the top generously with unsweetened cocoa powder. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (preferably overnight) to allow flavors to meld.
Serving Tip
Serve chilled, optionally garnished with chocolate shavings or a dusting of espresso powder for extra depth. |
