1 cup soft butter
1/2 cup sifted confection sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 cup flower
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375 degrees, Mix butter, sugar, vanilla. Stir in flour and salt. Roll 1/4 inch thick, cut with cookie cutters about 2 inches long. Bake on ungreased baking sheet about 10 minutes. Coo, frost with thin icing. Mix 1 cup sifted confection sugar with 1 1/2 Tbl water, 1/2 tsp vanilla or almond, sprinkle sugar and decorate. Makes 40
