Notes: You can use a hand blender or a hand mixer instead of a blender or a food processor to mix your potato soup Some people like a chunkier soup so we recommend in that case to blend only half of your soup and leave the other half in the original consistency with the chunks in it
If you're a bacon or ham lover, you could add ham or your cooked bacon right in the soup as your garnish
Potatoes are a great staple vegetable to have in the house and keep very well in a cool, dark place they have various minerals, including potassium and are a great way to fill up a hungry belly in a hurry. Any kind of white potato works well for this particular dish or are Yukon gold yellow potato.
