Directions:
Directions:
Boil chicken, debone and tear. Best to let cool first. Do not chop or cut...you can but don't tell me. Mix a double batch of dumplin's as directed on box of baking mix. If you cannot find Pioneer, use something else or your favorite biscuit recipe...please do not use flour tortillas, it just ain't right. Add torn up chicken back to the pot with the broth. Add more water if needed to make a good-sized pot because you'll want more.
Bring to boil. Drop the dumplin mixture into boiling broth by heaping spoonful's, sprinkle with black pepper, turn down heat and cover. Do not peek for about 10 minutes.
Check to see if the dumplins are done by flicking one with a fork. If not, cover and check back until they are. Add milk until you like what you see. Ladle into bowls and enjoy! Don't burn your mouth on the first bite though.
