2 cups All Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Salt
3 teaspoons Baking Powder
1 heaping tablespoon Crisco Shortening
1+ cup Buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Sift together flour, salt and baking powder.
Add shortening and work cutting in until crumbly.
Add buttermilk to dry ingredients and mix well.
Roll out on a floured countertop or board.
Cut biscuits with biscuit cutter.
Put a small amount of oil in biscuit pan. Put in oven just long enough to warm the oil.
Dredge biscuits in pan and turn over.
Bake at 425 degrees until done.
