1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
~15 oz refried beans
1 cup water
1/2 cup taco sauce
4 oz diced green chiles
2.25 oz black olives, divided
1 package taco seasoning mix
4.5 oz taco shells or tortilla chips
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup chopped tomatoes (optional)
1/4 cup sliced scallions (for topping)

Directions:
Directions:
Drain & slice the olives.
Crush the taco shells or tortilla chips into bite sized pieces.
Preheat the oven to 375.
Cook the beef & onion until the beef has browned; drain & return the beef to the pan.
Stir in the water, refried beans, taco sauce, chiles, 1/4 cup olives, garlic, and seasoning mix.
Cook over low heat for 10-15 minutes.
Layer half of the broken taco shells or chips on the bottom of a greased 13x9 inch baking dish. Cover with half of the meat sauce; sprinkle with 1 cup of the cheese. Repeat this layer with the remaining ingredients.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and the cheese is melted.
Top with the remaining olives, tomatoes and scallions.
