1 1/3 cups white sugar
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 package pastry for double-crust 9-inch pie (or make your own)
4 cups chopped rhubarb
1 tablespoon butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Place an oven rack in the lowest position.

Combine sugar and flour in a bowl. Sprinkle 1/4 of it over bottom crust in a pie dish. Heap rhubarb on top and sprinkle with remaining sugar mixture. Dot with butter and cover with top crust.

Bake pie in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

Reduce temperature to 350 degrees and continue baking until filling is bubbly and crust is golden brown, 40--45 minutes. Serve warm or cold

The best I've tried, and so easy!
I chopped the rhubarb into small pieces and it was perfect.
I also used about 4 1/2 cups of rhubarb because I wanted it heaping.
I was leery about putting the pie all the way to the bottom of the oven, and someone noted that they had pre-heated a cookie sheet and set it on there, so I did that as well.
I never thought I liked rhubarb pie. I've changed my mind!
