1 cup Water
1 cup Vinegar
1 cup brown sugar

3 to 4 whole cloves (per jar of beets)

Directions:
Boil beets in salted water for 20 min or just soft. take out and dip in cold water pop skin of beets off and cut as desired. put in sealer jars.

boil: water, vinegar and brown sugar for 3 minutes. Pour over cut beets in clean jars. Add 3 to 4 whole cloves in 2 cup pint jars. Seal.
