3 pounds green tomatoes (about 10 medium)
2 pounds apples, chopped
1 cup oil or margarine
4 cups raisins
1 pound brown sugar
2 tsp salt
1/2 cup vinegar
4 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp nutmeg

Chop the tomatoes, then put them through the food processor. Cover with cold water and bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes, then drain thoroughly.
Add chopped apples, raisins, sugar, oil, vinegar and spices. Simmer uncovered for 45 minutes until thickened. Stir often so it doesn't stick to the pot. Pack into hot canning jars.
