2 c sugar
⅔ c cooking oil
½ c + 2 T powdered cocoa
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 T vinegar
2 tsp vanilla
2 c cold water
3 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, oil and cocoa.

Add baking soda, salt vinegar and vanilla and beat to combine.

Add 1 cup at a time of water and flour alternately until mixed smooth.

Use greased 9x13 or 2 - 9in round pans. Bake 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes. A done cake should spring back when touched lightly, pull away from the edge of the pan, and pass the clean toothpick test.

This is a very moist and rich cake. Keeps well. This appears to actually be a Crazy cake or Wacky cake because it does not use milk, eggs or butter.
