½ cup cream
1 T. butter
6 ounces dried fettuccine
¾ cup grated parmesan cheese
Cracked black pepper

1. Allow cream and butter to stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, cook fettuccine according to package directions. Drain. Return fettuccine to saucepan. Add the cream, butter, and Parmesan cheese. Stir gently until fettuccine is well coated. Transfer to a warm serving dish.sprinkle with pepper and fresh parsley (optional). Serve immediately.

Ryan loves pasta, this being another of his favorites. This was his choice for our birthday celebration dinner for his 11th birthday. We weren’t going to be able to be with him on his actual birthday, so we celebrated it while he was spending time with us in Bandon June 2021. For dessert, he wanted to go to Facerock Creamery for ice cream.
