3 c sugar
4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp nutmeg
10 c water
1 1/2 c clear jel or therm flo
1 tsp salt
2 T lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together in 4 quart saucepan Bring to a boil till thickened. Fill quart jars half full of sliced peeled apples. Spoon filling over the apples, then fill the jars with more apples and more filling over the top. Leave 2 inch space at top of jar, don't fill all the way. Put rings and seals on jars and cold pack for 25 minutes.
