2 large onions
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. beer

Directions:
Directions:
Peel onions, cut into thick slices and separate into rings. Mix flour, salt and beer together and let mixture set for 30 minutes. Dip onion rings into batter. Using a deep fryer or heavy skillet, heat oil to 375ºF. Fry onion rings until golden brown on both sides, 3 to 5 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Will not get soggy. Serve immediately.
