2 sticks butter 1/2 pound
1 3/4 cup sugar
cinnamon to taste
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 Granny Smith apples peeled, cored and cut
2 cans crescent roll dough
12 oz Mountain Dew or other soda like 7-Up or Sprite

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Melt butter over low heat, in a saucepan on the stove. Add sugar, vanilla and cinnamon, and cook until combined into a thick sauce over low-med heat.
Peel and core the apples and cut each apple into 8 slices. Put apples and a little bit of water (about a tablespoon, not much) into a bowl and microwave for 2 minutes.
Roll one apple slice in each of the crescent rolls.
Place apple filled crescent rolls in a 13" by 9" pan that has been sprayed with Pam.
Cover crescent rolls with sugar and butter mixture.
After covering with butter mixture, cover crescent rolls with 12 oz. of Mountain Dew. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
