4 cups of unsweetened apple juice
5 cups of white sugar
½ teaspoon of butter (Optional)
1 (2 ounce) package of powdered fruit pectin

Directions:
Directions:
In an 8-quart stainless steel stockpot over medium-high heat, combine apple juice, pectin, and butter. Bring mixture to a full rolling boil while stirring constantly. Add sugar while stirring constantly, and until completely dissolved. Return mixture to a full rolling boil, and boil for 1 minute while stirring constantly. Remove pot from heat, and skim off any foam. Ladle in to sterilized jars
