1 cup milk
1 stick oleo
2 cups hot water
1 t salt
2 eggs
1/3 cup sugar
2 pkgs dry yeast
1/2 cup warm water
1 tsp sugar
2 1/2 cups gound rye
3 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Heat milk and oleo together until the oleo melts, cool slightly. Mix the yeast in 1/2 cup warm water and 1 tsp sugar to let rise. Mix the rye with eggs, water, warm milk, salt, sugar, and yeast mixture, then add the flour mixing well. Let rise until double about 1 1/2 hours. The dough will be very sticky, knead down and let rise again. Shape the rolls and place on baking pans to rise again. Bake 30 min.
