One 12-count package Hawaiian sweet rolls, sliced in half 3/4-lb cooked deli ham, thinly sliced 3/4-lb swiss cheese, thinly sliced 1 stick unsalted butter, melted 1 TB mustard 1 TB poppy seeds 2 tsp dried minced onion 2 tsp Worcesteshire sauce 1/4-tsp salt 1/4-tsp pepper

Directions:Preheat over to 350º Line 9x9 inch or 9x13 inch pan with aluminum foil, spray with cooking spray and set aside. Using a large serrated knife, slice the rolls in half. Don't pull the rolls apart or slice individually because you want to keep them all connected! Place the bottom slab of rolls in the prepared pan.
Evenly layer half the ham over the rolls. Evenly layer half the cheese Add the remaining ham Add the top "slab" of rolls and set aside. Melt butter in the microwave (about 1 minute) To this whisk in mustard, poppy seeds, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
Evenly pour the butter mixture over the rolls! Use a spatula to spread the mixture over the tops evenly. Don't worry if the mixture pools at the base of the rolls. Cover with aluminum foil and let stand at room temp for 5-10 minutes.
Bake covered for 20 minutes or until cheese has melted Uncover and cook for about 3-5 minutes (to crust up the tops). Watch to make sure they don't bur since all ovens and ingredients vary. Slice into sliders and serve IMMEDIATELY. Best served warm! |
