1 c margarine or butter

1 c brown sugar

1/2 c granulated sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

nuts (optional)

2 c flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp cinnamon (opt.)

1/2 tsp salt (opt.)

3 cups oatmeal

1 c raisins
Directions:
Directions:
Beat together butter and sugars until creamy.

Add eggs & beat well.

In separate bowl combine all dry ingredients.

Add to sugar/butter mixture & mix well.

Add raisins.

Heat oven to 350º. Bake cookies 10-12 minutes (less time for moist chewy cookies)
