1-1½ lb. hamburger
1 onion, chopped
2 cans (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 can (15.25 oz.) corn
1 can (4 oz.) green chiles
1 can (2.25 oz.) sliced olives
1 tsp. chili powder
¾ c. yellow cornmeal
2½ c. boiling salted water
Jack and cheddar cheese, slices or shredded
Non-stick cooking spray

Preheat oven to 350º

Brown the meat and onions; drain the fat. Combine the meat mixture with the tomato sauce, corn, olives and chili powder and let simmer for 5-10 minutes.

In medium size sauce pan, mix cornmeal in cold water (just enough water to moisten it) and then add the boiling water. Cook until fairly thick.

Put meat mixture in a greased 3 quart casserole dish and top with the cornmeal mixture and cheese slices or shredded cheese. Bake for 45 to 60 minutes.
