4 cups cranberries- fresh or frozen
2 oranges, unpeeled, washed and cut into four wedges
1 cup corn syrup
1 cup white sugar
5 x 250 ml mason jars

Directions:
Directions:
Chop the cranberries and oranges together through a grinder or pulsed in a food processor. Mixture should be coarse (not mush). Place in a large bowl; add the syrup and sugar and mix well. Turn into mason jars and let stand several days in the fridge. Serve or freeze for later.

Note: 2 x 12 oz bags of cranberries + 3 oranges + 1½ cups corn syrup + 1½ cups sugar = 7 jars.

Nana always made two types of cranberry sauce at Christmas- this one and a traditional cooked cranberry sauce. This was my favourite, and after we were married, it became Paul's too.
