1½ c. Egg Whites
2 tsp. Vanilla
1½ tsp. Cream of Tartar
1 tsp. Salt
2 c. Brown Sugar
1¼ c. Cake Flour, sifted
Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites with vanilla, cream of tartar and salt until soft peaks form. Gradually sift 1 cup of the brown sugar over the egg whites and beat till stiff peaks form. Sift remaining brown sugar with the flour. Fold into egg whites & add vanilla. Turn into ungreased 10 inch angel food cake pan. Bake at 350º 41-45 minutes. Cool turned upside down.
