2 cans clams with juice
¼ lb. bacon chopped
1 medium onion chopped
4 medium potatoes, cubed very small
2 c. water
1½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
(add your own seasoning)
1 large can evaporated milk
1 small can evaporated milk
2 - 3 tbsp. instant potatoes
1 tbsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Brown bacon (chopped) with onion until tender. Drain and put in the crockpot with clams and their juice. Add all remaining ingredients but NOT the evaporated milk. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours until potatoes are tender. Add evaporated milk during the last hour. Turn crockpot to high. To thicken add instant potatoes (about 2-3 tbsp.) as desired. Also 1 tbsp. butter.
