1 c. water
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Wesson oil
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
4 T. cocoa powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. In a medium bowl, mix together dry ingredients - flour, sugar, cocoa powder, soda and salt. In a heavy saucepan, heat water, butter and Wesson oil. Once butter has melted, remove from heat and add the dry ingredients, buttermilk and vanilla. Stir well until all ingredients are well blended. Pour into a buttered 9x13-inch baking pan. Bake at 350º for 25 minutes. Make frosting 5 minutes before cake is done.

6 T. buttermilk
1 lb. box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Use same pot for frosting. Melt butter; add buttermilk and cocoa powder, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook for about 1 minute. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, then add powdered sugar and stir well to blend. Add pecans, then pour mixture over warm cake. Cool before serving.
