1 9 inch pie shell made from puff pastry
2 tbsp butter
1 large onion chopped
12 slices of bacon chopped
4 eggs
2 cups whipping cream
1/2 tsp salt
Pinch of pepper
Pinch of nutmeg
Pinch of cayenne pepper
1 cup grated Swiss cheese

Directions:

Sauté onions in butter until soft. Fry bacon until crisp. Combine eggs, cream and spices until well mixed. Sprinkle pie shell with bacon, onions and cheese. Pour egg mixture on too. Bake at 425• for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 300• and bake for an additional 40 minutes.
