Preheat to 350º
Grease & flour a 9x13 pan.

Cake:
2 c flour
¾ c sugar
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
(opt 1 cup nuts)
½ c butter
1 egg
¾ c milk, or liquid from fruit
(opt 1 c fruit)
1½ tsp vanilla extract

Streusel Topping
¼ c flour
⅔ c sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
(opt ½ c nuts)
¼ c butter

Directions:
Directions:
Make the streusel:
Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon.
Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Set aside.

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt (nuts).
Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Crack the egg into a measuring cup & fill to 1 c with milk
(or the liquid from the fruit you've decided to add).
Stir in vanilla, and pour into crumb mixture.
Mix just until moistened.
(Opt. Fold in fruit).
Spread into prepared pan.
Sprinkle with streusel,

Bake for 25-30 minutes. Test with toothpick.
Allow to cool before serving.
