1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1½ teaspoons cumin
1½ teaspoons garlic salt
1 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama seasoning
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon diced jalapeños
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese, grated
Empanada dough
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425º. In a cast iron skillet, add ground beef, onions and garlic and cook until no longer pink. Drain grease and return to pan. Sprinkle with seasonings and stir. Add tomato sauce and jalapeños, stir and let simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Place meat on to dough discs, fold over dough and pinch sides with water to seal. Brush with egg. Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Enjoy!
