1 1/2 lbs. ground round
2 cups diced onion
1 cup diced celery
1 cup diced carrots
1 T minced garlic
3 (14 oz.) can chicken broth
1 (16 oz.) crushed tomatoes
2 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. hot sauce
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef. Add vegetables and garlic. Cook 19-12 minutes until softened. Add all other ingredients except butter and flour. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes. Melt butter in small saucepan, stir in flour. Cook over medium heat, stirring until deep brown. Whisk into soup. Roux will splatter upon contact with soup. Be Careful! Cover and simmer 15 minutes more.
