Pasta and Bean Soup Recipe

2 c. chopped onion
2 c. chopped celery
1 c. chopped carrot
4 clove garlic, minced
2 boxes chicken broth (42 OZ)
2 cans great northern beans
2 cans iced tomatoes with juice
2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. pepper
4 bay leaf
1 1/2 c small shell macaroni
opt. parsley and cheese to top

Saute onion,celery and carrot til tender, add garlic for a minute.
Pour in broth, beans, tomatoes, seasonings. Simmer for about 20 min.
Cook macaroni and add to above. Add parsley if desired and cheese before serving.
