12 corn tortillas
1/2lb ground venison
1 small onion
1 tsp minced garlic
pinch salt
pinch pepper
½ tspn chili powder
2 tbsp canola oil
1 cup shredded cheese, if de -
sired

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven or traeger to 425 degrees.
2. Chop the onion into very small bits.
3. In a small pan, place the onion, garlic, canola
oil and venison
4. Add salt, pepper and chili powder.
5. Remove from heat and allow to cool to the
touch.
6. Place about 3tbsp of meat in the center of the
tortilla across the tortilla.
7. Fold the tortilla in half over the meat, then
roll tightly.
8. Repeat with all 12 tortillas.
9. Place taquitos in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until lightly browned.
10. Remove and allow to cool
