2 c Flour
1½ c Sugar
2 tsp Baking Soda
1 pinch Salt
1 Egg (or 2 eggs for cake texture)
1 lg can Crushed Pineapple (juice and all)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, sugar and Baking Soda and mix thoroughly. Add beaten eggs and can of crushed pineapple and pour mixture into greased 9x13 baking dish.

Bake about 30 to 35 minutes at 350º and top with sauce (see below)

⅔ c Sugar
⅔ c Half & Half (or can of Carnation Evaporated Milk)
1 stick Butter
1 tsp Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine ingredients in saucepan and allow to boil for 5 minutes. While cake is still hot, use a fork and poke holes over the entire surface of cake. Pour sauce over cake while cake is still warm and allow sauce to absorb into cake.
