½ CUP HERSEYS DARK COCOA POWDER
1 TSP BAKING SODA
⅛ TSP SALT
FILLING:
¼ CUP BUTTER
¼ CUP SHORTENING
1¾ CUP POWDERED SUGAR
1 TSP VANILLA

CREAM BUTTER, ADD SUGARS. BEAT TILL COMBINED. ADD EGG AND VANILLA.
ADD DRY INGREDIENTS AND BEAT TILL DOUGH IS FORMED. COVER WITH PLASTIC WRAP AND CHILL DOUGH FOR AT LEAST 1 HOUR.
ROLL DOUGH INTO SMALL BALLS. PLACE ON PARCHMENT LINED OR GREASED SHEET. FLATTEN BALLS SLIGHTLY
BAKE 350º for 6-8 MINUTES
LET COOL COMPLETELY. BEAT FILLING INGREDIENTS TILL CREAMY. SPREAD BETWEEN TWO COOKIES
